7:00 pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:

7:32 pm – Meeting was called to order – Pledge of Allegiance & Conservation pledge

Introduction of Officers: Stephen Gustkey- Pistol, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Recording Secretary, Tom Horstman- Trap

Treasurer’s Report: John read the report.

Bills and Communications: Weed killer $37.09, Mower fuel $31.50, 2 – pedestal fans for hall $248.72, Fall taxes $1,987

Pop: Steve turned in $13.

Rental Committee Report: SRU Aug 14, Aug 4 between 10-2pm, Pistol match Aug. 10, 11, 12, Aug. 18. Aug, 25. Sept 25 & 26 (Hunter Safety Class).

Pistol Team: Steve announced a nice turnout of about 38 shooters for the pistol match. Steve turned in $80 that was donated towards the new pistol stands. The pistol team shoots on Thursdays, indoor starting on Sept 27, from 5 PM till dark. 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team: Tom turned in $154.25. Practice is on Tuesdays 5pm – dark, $3.50 per 25 targets. Open to the general public, club members, and new shooters.

Black Powder: Mike turned in a donation of $1,000 from Mr. Wilson that is to be put towards the cabin fund. Rendezvous is coming up on Sept. 1st and  2nd.   On the 2nd Sunday of each month at 11:00 am are the meat shoots (Black powder, closest to bullseye).

Junior Rifle Team: Due to low turn out Mike announced junior rifle is on hold for now. May resume in fall if there is a demand for it. Contact Mike Ripley with any questions or interest.

Archery: Still looking for any members willing to join together to make a team to practice.

Fun Indoor Shoot: . Dickie announced that the fun shoot has come to an end and will start up again in the fall/winter. They normally shoot every Monday 10am-4pm. Everyone is welcome. Iron/Peep sights with .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize.

Membership: Brian read new memberships and turned in $205 of which $20 to maintenance fund and $185 to the general fund. $0- was turned in for key cards. He reported 86 new members for 2018 which brings a total of 441 Sr, Life and Charter members. Total membership is 615.

Old Business: Steve said the new pistol stands are available to use. The stands painted white have a spike on the bottom to be used for a closer target holder to benches. Remember to place all stands back in the holders to the side of range when done shooting.

New Business: None this month.

Good of the Association: Remember to police you brass and keep all shots within target holders.
